In 2011 we were lucky enough to host a farm visit by a group of under-privileged children from central London. It was a fantastic day and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. This has inspired us to have other educational visits and with the help of Natural England we currently plan to hold more visits for local schools next summer, as well as showing interested adult groups what we do on the farm.
We raise money on our farm walks and this year donated £400 to MacMillan Cancer Support. As a company we also donate to local causes, such as the excellent Shillington Scarecrow Festival and a local Christmas Tree Festival. We are members of the Kimpton Ploughing Match Association and support them on the day itself as well as throughout the year at their social events.
